Numerous media outlets in South Korea have been reporting on the many activities conducted by Shincheonji Volunteer Group for nationwide community development, particularly during the emerging 'post-COVID' era. Most recently, on the 20th, the 'Yellow May Play with Me' event was held at Demian Bakery & Café (Singil neighbourhood, Ansan city) to create lasting memories with loved ones in celebration of the Family Month of May.

Shincheonji Ansan Church (John Tribe) of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony held an event that day with the participation of about 1000 people, including the families of Shincheonji members, Ansan city council members, local journalists, and entertainers.

The 'Yellow May Play with Me' event marked a resumption of outdoor activities that had been ceased due to COVID-19 for the past three years, and Shincheonji Ansan Church prepared it in order for Shincheonji members to become one with citizens, and it received a great response from the participants.

As the booths were completed the day before the event, they gathered in groups of threes from 10am on the 20th.

Upon entry, the information booth and medical booth caught the particular attention of guests, and everyone greeted the attendees with bright smiles. In addition, there were photo exhibitions, educational booths on doctrinal comparisons, photo zones, various performances and a meeting with local provincial officials.

The event drew a positive response to Shincheonji from the attendees.

Participant Hyeon-hyung Lee (47) expressed his gratitude, saying, The atmosphere felt family-like as everyone was so friendly.
