Shincheonji Jeonju Church, 'The Road to Happiness Gifted to You' Lecture Successfully Held
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) has, in recent years, been holding an increasing number of seminars - both online and in person - that teach on the entire 66 books of the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation. Shincheonji Church of Jesus has lectured on a range of topics, including the solution to the cycle of birth, ageing, sickness and death according to the promises of the Bible, and many other related topics. To this end, Shincheonji Jeonju Church (Thomas Tribe) successfully held its 'Happy Dream Seminar' at The May Hotel in Jeonju on the 11th and 13th April.
About 1,000 people, including family members and acquaintances of Shincheonji Jeonju Church members attended the Happy Dream Seminar, both in person and online via YouTube, held on the theme of 'The Road to Happiness Gifted to You'.
The seminar consisted of exhibitions, photo zones, cultural performances, and lectures to raise awareness of Shincheonji Church and provide a platform for open communication and discussion.
In addition, various booths showcasing the centenarian experience, bag-making, caricature, leather crafting, flower crafting, and the Forest of Words in Metabus World all gave joy to the visitors.
In particular, in the exhibition titled 'Happiness and Religion', the works and the docent's explanations connected like a story, making it possible to think about happiness as well as the meaning of the works.
On the first day of the seminar, Lecturer Jung-min So of Shincheonji Church of Jesus spoke on 'How to change one's thoughts'. The importance of positive language was explained.
On the second day, suggestions for a joyful life were presented under the theme of 'What comprises a happy life?'
In-soon Kim (pseudonym, female, Deokjin-dong, Jeonju city), who participated in the seminar at the recommendation of an acquaintance, said, “I've acquired a new understanding about religion after listening to Shincheonji Church of Jesus' various comparative and easy-to-digest Bible lectures. Having applied to attend their upcoming free Bible study courses and learning from them, I am considering joining the church.”
Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus plans to hold large-scale Open Bible Seminars in Seoul, Busan, and Daejeon from the end of April to the beginning of May.
