Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee), which transitioned to online services during the COVID-19 period, opened its doors wide on the 2nd April and invited citizens to its 'Spring Open Seminar'.

About 2,000 citizens who have been curious about Shincheonji Church attended the open meeting held that day. The event was held twice at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm under the theme of 'Happy Choice'.

Bahng-sik Jang, head instructor of Shincheonji Daejeon Church, said, “God created man for a reason, but man did not follow His will, and death came. God wanted Adam to reign over the world that He created, and also wanted him to worship and praise God.”

“However, Adam eventually chose the devil, not God, and sinned, resulting in death for all humanity. God has given people the Bible to give them the opportunity to choose for themselves.”

Head instructor Bahng-sik Jang emphasised, “The decision must be my own and something I am responsible for.”

He added, “Shincheonji Church only helps people understand the Book of Revelation properly by explaining the Bible according to the 5W1H principle.”

Lastly, he said, “When God judges, each person's decision will determine their destination to be heaven or hell.”

Mr. Kim (45, Tanbang-dong), who attended the open meeting, said, “I've been to several churches, but I've never come across such a bright atmosphere.”

On that day, at the Shincheonji Daejeon Church seminar, 'Happy Choice', programmes introducing the culture and teachings of Shincheonji, including music performances, special Shincheonji performances, and educational programs for visitors, were held.

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Daejeon Church, which has been actively engaging with the local community since the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony in 2022, is building rapport with local residents by holding group blood donations, various photo exhibitions and events, including the 'End-of-year Festival for Older People'.
