Pastors curious about the revealed theology from Shincheonji gathered in Daegu

by - 11:17

Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) is giving a lecture at the ‘Shincheonji Bible Seminar’ held at Hotel Inter-Burgo in Daegu, South Korea, on 15th October

“If this Book of Revelation is being fulfilled, there must be clear evidence. When something is fulfilled, it must have substance, and not remain just as word. This is most important.”

ManHee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus), emphasised this at the Shincheonji Bible Seminar for church leaders (pastors, evangelists, and ministers) and seminarians at Hotel Inter Burgo in Daegu on the afternoon of the 15th October under the theme of 'Betrayer, Destroyer, and Savior.' Chairman Lee explained the natural process of fulfilment of the events recorded in the Book of Revelation, 'betrayal-destruction-salvation', and testified about the actual realities of the betrayers, destroyers, and saviour. In addition, Chairman Lee repeatedly emphasised that the fulfilment of the Book of Revelation is nearing completion, saying, “The Book of Revelation has been fulfilled up to chapter 17.”

The popularity of the Shincheonji Bible Seminar was high not only in Seoul and Daejeon, but also in Daegu. A long queue of people formed at the entrance of the event hall before the doors opened, and the venue was filled with attendees who came to listen to the sermon. Because there were not enough seats, dozens of people stood and listened. About 2000 people, including about 100 pastors, attended that day, and the fact that the service was held at the church because it was Sunday shows how high the level of interest is in the revealed word directly testified by Chairman Lee.

Introductory performances, such as Nanta (high-energy Korean musical), that preceded Chairman Lee’s lecture further raised expectations for the Bible Seminar. A series of cheers and applause erupted from the performances, which were pleasing to the eyes and ears.

On that day, the Shincheonji Bible Seminar was broadcast in real time through LED video vehicles set up in the heart of Daegu, and was broadcast simultaneously in 10 languages, including Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Russian, French, German, Spanish, and Mongolian, through the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

◆“To be saved, you must belong to the 12 tribes”
“As we see in Revelation 22:16 and 22:8, there is one person who saw and heard everything. (Jesus) told this person to go to the churches and testify everything he had seen and heard. Since that is what was commanded, this person must testify accordingly.”

On that day, Chairman Lee testified about the three key mysteries of the Book of Revelation, 'Betrayer, Destroyer, and Savior,’ about the natural order of their appearance and how they appeared in reality according to prophecy. However, he expressed his frustration by saying that he could not mention the actual names of these people for fear of defamation.

He added, “There are many pastors in this world. However, if you ask pastors if they know this book (the Book of Revelation), no one will be able to answer.” He continued, “If you don’t know about it, just come and listen.” “If you ask the person who received this opened word of the Bible (Revelation 10), you will know,” he said. He then said emphatically, “This person (the Chairman of Shincheonji) received and ate the book, so it is in the stomach of this person who received and ate it.”

The attendees who were listening to Chairman Lee's lecture responded by applauding and saying 'Amen'.

Chairman Lee emphasised that Shincheonji is the ‘family of God’s kingdom’ that belongs to the ‘12 tribes’ as promised in the Bible, and asked the pastors, “What tribe do you belong to?” He said, “When the Book of Revelation is fulfilled, you must belong to one of the 12 tribes. Shincheonji is comprised of 12 tribes. There are over 12,000 people in each tribe, and now the great multitude in white is coming.” “You can only be saved if you join this multitude in white,” he emphasised.

◆“Chairman Lee understands the Book of Revelation…“It’s all correct”
Pastor Park (77, male), who said that he had difficulty interpreting the Book of Revelation even after 40 years of pastoral life, said, “It was difficult to preach about the Book of Revelation,” and added, “But Chairman Lee understands the Book of Revelation in full and speaks clearly about it.” He expressed his surprise, saying, “He really does so.”

Pastor Park said, “An environment where pastors can open their hearts and dialogue through the Word has not yet been created. It’s like talking to a wall; you just cannot communicate,” and emphasising the need for dialogue pointed out, “It’s important to have deep, open dialogue to understand each other’s beliefs.” At the same time, he hoped, “I hope that if possible, a venue will be provided where all denominations can gather in one place and discuss the Word.”

Pastor Kim (69, male), who has been in ministry for 30 years, said, “The established denominations think that only they are right, but what is important is whether a teaching is Biblically correct or not. And it is correct (in Shincheonji). “Revelation 17 really has been fulfilled,” he said. He also said, “It's quite amazing that the 12 tribes (God’s new nation and new people) have been created according to the Bible,” and encouraged, “It's exactly according to what is recorded in the Bible, so please check it out.”

◆A total of 5600 people attended the seminars in Seoul, Daejeon, and Daegu
The Shincheonji Bible Seminar, in which Chairman Lee personally tours and lectures in major cities across South Korea, started in Seoul on the 7th October, followed by Daejeon on the 11th, and to be followed in Busan on the 18th on the theme of 'The Reality of the Promised Shepherd at the Second Coming', and on the 21st in Gwangju under the theme of '144,000 and the Multitude in White That Will Be Saved'.

At the previously held Seoul Bible Seminar, about 1600 people, including about 450 pastors, attended, and at the Daejeon Bible Seminar, about 2000 people, including about 200 pastors, attended. Pastors who attended the Bible Seminar looked back on their decades of pastoral life and expressed their feelings that they should study again based on the revealed word testified by Shincheonji.

Meanwhile, unlike the Korean church, which is shrinking and declining day by day, Shincheonji Church of Jesus reported that the number of believers in Shincheonji has exceeded 310,000. Additionally, it was revealed that as of the end of September, the number of churches that had signed an MOU (memorandum of understanding) with Shincheonji Church of Jesus to have the revealed word taught to respective church congregations was 350 in South Korea and 8555 in 80 countries overseas. Of the 1500 domestic pastors who have attended the Shincheonji Bible Seminar to date, 282 are taking classes at the Zion Christian Mission Centre, and as many as 5069 pastors from overseas are taking the classes.
