On the 21st October, Jae-jun Oh, head lecturer of Shincheonji Chungju Church (Philip Tribe) of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, is conducting a seminar on the topic of 'Happy Living' at a café located in Seongseong district

Everyone works hard throughout their lives to lead a happy life, but they live a vague life without being able to set a standard or definition for true happiness.

Shincheonji Chungju Church (head lecturer Jae-Jun Oh, Philip Tribe) of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, held a follow-up lecture for the Shincheonji Bible Seminar under the theme of 'Happy Living' and received a great response by providing time to communicate with the citizens of Chungju about the direction of a happy life.

On the 21st, Shincheonji Chungju Church rented a café in Seongseong district, Chungju city and spoke on the key features of finding happiness, the most important life value.

This seminar was divided into three sessions at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 8:30 pm, and about 200 citizens participated.

At the beginning of the seminar, when asked ‘When are you happiest?’, participants responded that they were happy “when eating, travelling, and sleeping.”

In response, head lecturer Jae-jun Oh, who is in charge of Chungju Church, said, “Those things give temporary happiness, but you can feel the greatest happiness when you come to an understanding of the unchanging truth.” He added, “The surest way to make yourself happy is clearly stated in the Bible, and it is through Shincheonji Church of Jesus.” “I don’t want you to come here because I say so, but because you yourself find happiness through the Bible,” he emphasised.

He added, “All the answers to life’s questions, including where life comes from and where it goes, are found in the Bible, so I hope you can check for yourselves and escape from a vague life and temporary happiness and enjoy certain and eternal happiness.”

Ms. Kim (42 years old, female), who attended the seminar, said, “I thought the Bible was a book for people who go to church, but when I heard that it was a book that records the way to achieve happiness in life, I was curious and applied for follow-up education.”

Another attendee, Mr. Lee (56 years old), said, “The lecture was very useful, and I was worried that they would force me to go to Shincheonji Church, but instead of telling me to go to Shincheonji Church, I was told to check the Bible to see what prophecy and fulfilment was. “I feel less burdened and want to take this opportunity to find out,” he said.

An official from Chungju Church said, “We hope this will be a valuable time to learn what true happiness is through the Bible.”
