Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) regularly opens its doors to the public to provide sound teaching through Bible-based lectures on a range of topics, especially the Book of Revelation, to address existing misunderstandings and prejudices about Shincheonji among the Christian community, and foster deeper ties with communities throughout South Korea.

On the 4th May, the Thaddeus tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus held a seminar on 'New Covenant, One Bible' for the citizens of Daegu.

The seminar was held at the Wedding Vienna convention hall located in Dalseo District, Daegu, and about 800 citizens from all walks of life attended.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which is founded in accordance to the promise of the Bible, opened the lecture with a highlight video of the 100,000 Graduation Ceremony held in Daegu last year, followed by an A cappella performance and an assorted drum (percussion) performance.

Heung-Sam Noh, the head of Thaddeus tribe, who served as a lecturer, spoke on various themes, including 'What kind of book is the Bible?', 'A book that tells the story between God and life', 'A book that speaks of the promise between God and man', and 'A book about God's return.'

“The reason why Shincheonji has come to understand the word of God and is walking the correct path of faith is because there is a shepherd (pastor) who is promised in the Bible,” said tribe head Noh. He emphasised, “We also regularly carry out Bible examinations to ensure that we are sealed with the word of God. This is done in order to keep God's promise.”

Tribe head Noh said, “May is family month, which provides an opportunity to look back on our families and on those around us and present gifts in celebration of Children’s Day, Parents’ Day and Teacher’s Day. Similarly, we are presenting this gift of the Word with those of you in attendance today.”

“Shincheonji is conducting various volunteer activities, including donating blood plasma for the country and its people; and even 70,000 congregants donated blood despite the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

After the seminar, a follow-up consultation booth for attendees was prepared at the venue for an explanation of further free Bible study online and offline.
