Shincheonji Mokpo Church, Peter Tribe (Head Dong-jin Lee), of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony held the 'Spiritual and Physical Wellbeing Seminar' from the 22nd to the 23rd June.

With the theme of 'Adding Happiness to My Life,' this seminar was attended by about 800 people, including members of the Mokpo Church, their families, local figures, and residents.

Head lecturer Dong-jin Lee, who gave a Bible-based lecture based on the 24 questions left by the late Samsung founder Byung-cheol Lee, spoke on the following topics: ▲Whether God exists and reliable evidence ▲ If there is a God, why do people have to die unhappy? ▲What is the blessing God promised and how is it received?

Regarding the question of whether God exists, Lecturer Lee said, “70% of the natural world is unseen like sound, smell, or TV waves, but they exist. The same is true of the existence of God.” He said, “Just as we hear sounds with our ears and smell with our noses, we can know the existence of God through the Bible.”

He continued, “You may wonder why it's being said that only the Bible can prove the existence of God when there are so many religions. All religious scriptures, including Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism, record the contents of history, moral teachings, and prophecies. However, the Bible even records the fulfilment of prophecies that are not found in other scriptures. Through Jesus who came as the Messiah, the prophecies of the Old Testament were fulfilled.”

Regarding 'Why do people become unhappy and die?', Lecturer Lee said, “God, who is life, left this world because of Adam's sin of falling into the deception of the serpent and breaking the covenant with God. Until now, the world has been ruled over by Satan.” He explained that the cause of sickness and ageing is Satan the Devil, an evil spirit who holds the power of death.

Lecturer Dong-jin Lee said, “If I want to receive God’s blessings and live happily, the problem of sin must first be resolved. That is why about 2000 years ago, Jesus shed his blood and died on the cross. Now, the dragon (Satan) who causes us to sin will be captured in Revelation 20. The book of Revelation records the process by which this dragon is captured.”

Lastly, Lecturer Lee said, “God said in Revelation 21 that He is coming to this earth. Then, shouldn't everything be fulfilled up to Revelation 21? The answers to the 65 books of the Bible are contained in the book of Revelation. In order to receive the promised blessings, you must know the Book of Revelation. Shincheonji is the only place that can testify the fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation.”

A citizen who attended the seminar said, “There are people around me who say not to go to Shincheonji because it is a cult, but when I came and checked, I saw that the people of Shincheonji are bright and friendly.”
