[Cheonji Daily = Reporter Hye-ji Lim] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus) reconfirmed the achievements it had made last year at the '39th General Assembly Meeting' on the 15th, and pledged to expand its influence for good as well as internal growth this year.
At the meeting, which was held online, the steps and achievements to date were shared through a video produced that details the major activities of last year.
According to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, over the past year, it has experienced an exponential growth of 106,186 graduates from the mission center. In particular, after the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of Shincheonji believers increased significantly, drawing the attention of people of all walks of life, in contrast to the current climate within the Church, which is struggling due to a decrease in the number of its members.
These achievements were driven by online seminars and the operation of online mission centres. The online seminar series of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, released on YouTube last year, as well as eight seminars by Chairman Man-hee Lee, were broadcast all over the world in 24 languages and recorded a total cumulative view count of 20.98 million.

In this regard, analysis emerged that the 'online mission center', which started in earnest after the spread of coronavirus, has increased accessibility to the words of Shincheonji Church of Jesus. In fact, since the transition to an online system in 2020, the Online Mission Center, which celebrated its third year online last year, opened a total of 3347 domestic and international classes (1715 domestically in South Korea and 1632 overseas) during that year.
As a result, more than 100,000 students were discharged, which is the largest in history by any theological institution. It is evaluated that the scale of the lecture has grown further since shifting from the existing face-to-face learning to a non-face-to-face learning, relieving the constraints of time and space.
In particular, signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with pastors domestically in South Korea and abroad is an exceptional achievement. By signing 177 MOUs in Korea and 3760 overseas (at the end of December last year), numerous domestic and foreign pastors have entered into an agreement to have the word from Shincheonji Church of Jesus taught to their respective congregations.
Overseas, last year, 21 Shincheonji Church of Jesus branches were newly established in 18 countries, achieving remarkable growth.
In addition, Shincheonji Church of Jesus announced that it had conducted a large-scale blood donation campaign for the second time last year and devoted its energy to social activities.

18,819 people participated in the 1st blood donation campaign and 73,807 people in the 2nd campaign, which is the largest number of blood donations by a single institution in the shortest period of time, setting a Guinness World Record and certification by the Korea Record Institute (KRI) for the largest number of blood donations.
In July of last year, 'We Are One', a volunteer group consisting of 90,000 domestic and foreign youths, was launched and a plan announced to solve national challenges and global crises through the leadership of young people.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus is again aiming for '100,000 graduates' this year. The slogan for this year is 'The Year of Uniting as One, Achieving Our Goal', and all believers pledged to evangelise with more heart.
To this end, it was announced that the workers of duty such as branch leaders, head instructors, mission center instructors, and evangelists would take the lead in evangelism activities.
In addition, while operating the online mission center as before, Shincheonji plans to open and operate some offline mission centers as well. This will further increase accessibility to citizens so that anyone can visit and listen to the Word in person.
At the same time, it plans to focus on the education of the congregation.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “A Bible exam is taken every month by all members,” and “We have been planning and implementing the 'Revelation War Speech' since the beginning of this year.” Shincheonji Church of Jesus added, “With the goal of ‘improving the skills of all members as pastors (priests),’ we will ensure that everyone has the ability to teach the Bible.”
In addition, it plans to provide opportunities for Bible education to more people by expanding its scope, including increasing the number of Bible seminars at home and abroad and increasing MOU signings with pastors.
Existing social activities will also be expanded. We Are One, a youth volunteer group, announced that it is preparing to expand its activities into various fields such as the environment, peace, and education this year.
★ “We need to check the facts through the Bible, Let's become one in the Word”
On the other hand, the meeting of the General Assembly was held together with a service to commemorate the Passover. Chairman Man-hee Lee explained the significance of the Passover, which Shincheonji Church of Jesus celebrates today, through his sermon.
Chairman Lee said, “Luke 22:14-20 reads, ‘I will not eat the Passover until it finds fulfilment in the kingdom of God'. Jesus made a new promise by figuratively speaking of the time of Moses when the people were saved by putting the blood of the lamb on their doorposts and eating the meat.”
He then emphasised that we must realise the significance of today's Passover and the Book of Revelation, saying, “This Passover takes place again at the time of Revelation when the Father's kingdom is established.”
He also asked pastors to confirm the facts about Shincheonji Church of Jesus through the Bible and become one in the Word.
Chairman Lee pointed out, “God accomplishes His will according to the Bible, so we must believe according to the Bible.” “We, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, have been created according to the Bible. If God has promised this and is fulfilling it today, we must not disbelieve and persecute. We should confirm it through the Bible,” he emphasised.
Finally, he said, “These words are not 'yours' or 'mine', but God's. Let's become one in the word of God.”
