📰The Bible is one of the best-selling and most widely distributed books in history, yet it is also considered to be among the least understood. The Bible, which is referred to as the New Covenant and Promise of God, in which 'the way to heaven and salvation' is presented, differs in theologians' interpretations that make it difficult to understand. These differing interpretations have been the cause of the rise of denominations with each one establishing their own doctrine. With the increase in online church services and gatherings resulting from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there has been growing interest in the comparison of various church doctrine. This paper, therefore, attempts to provide readers with the opportunity to compare differing Biblical teachings without interpretation. Among a host of online sermons and Bible-based teachings, the contrasting doctrine between the established Church and Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has drawn public interest throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, is hereby compared and summarised. Best efforts have been made to provide a summary of Shincheonji Church of Jesus' understanding of the Bible. Judgment as to what is right or wrong is left to the reader’s discernment.
"This refers to spiritual testing at the time of Revelation's fulfilment. It has nothing to do with the testing within one's relationships"

In Matthew 24, it was said that there would be times of wars, famines and other calamities where the sun, moon and stars would darken and fall as signs to mark the end of the world. In addition, there would be temptations and trials, and it was also said that those who endure to the end would be saved. Matthew 24 is a prophecy about the Lord's Second Coming, referring to events that have already taken place in God's temple at the Lord's Second Coming.
The temptation in Matthew 24:10 refers to an event in which Satan's destroyers invaded God's tabernacle (temple) at the Lord's Second Coming, inciting spiritual warfare and deceiving the chosen people in God's tabernacle. It refers to an event in which the people of God's tabernacle fell away due to the destroyer's tempting, and turned against one another under this period of testing. It called for patience endurance on the part of the chosen people of God who underwent such temptation.
Matthew 24 speaks of the signs of the end of the age. The location of this incident is a place that was being figuratively likened to Jerusalem of the first coming. In Matthew 24:15-16, Jesus' command is to flee to the mountains when the abomination of desolation stands in the holy place at the time of the Lord's Second Coming. This place is the tabernacle of God. In this tabernacle, the group of destroyers invaded, fought against the chosen people, and defeated them.
This is why, in Matthew 24:7, Jesus referred to a war between nation and kingdom. The chosen people of God betrayed within His temple. It became a spiritual battleground and they fell into temptation due to the lies (false truth) delivered by false pastors, making the chosen people hate and fight one another, and hand each other over to death. Many false prophets arose to deceive the chosen people. Where God's righteousness should have dwelt in God's temple, there was sin and iniquity in a climate where the love between the chosen people had grown cold.
To reiterate, the signs of these end times that Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24 would take place at the Lord's Second Coming when the book of Revelation is fulfilled.
In Revelation 1~3, the tabernacle of the seven stars and the seven golden lampstands, who are seven pastors belonging to God and Jesus, appeared. After these people violated the covenant with God, the group of destroyers invaded the tabernacle of the seven stars and the seven golden lampstands where the chosen people fell into temptation due to the deception of the destroyers, and ended up turning against one another.
The prophecy in Matthew 24 refers to the tempting and betrayal of the chosen people of the tabernacle of the seven golden lampstands under a period of testing at the Second Coming of the Lord. It does not refer to societal issues such as hostile relationships among people or families.
The tempting that took place in the tabernacle of the seven golden lampstands occur enduring the 42-month period given for the work of destruction, as recorded in Revelation 11:2. The one who endured to the end was saved.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Paul told us not to be deceived no matter what one says concerning the coming of the Lord, as the Second Coming of the Lord would only take place after the events of betrayal and destruction.
"Temptation occurs at the end of the physical world, including bullying, murder and other societal afflictions"

"In the last days, Jesus said that human relations would become very hostile. It was said that, at that time, many people would fall away and hate each other.
In the English Bible, it says, many will 'Turn away from the faith'. As our faith leaves us, we turn our backs on God and start killing each other. Humans become cruel and devour one another, bully each other, do not refrain from violence, and domestic violence increases. The reason that mass-shooting incidents occur on campuses is because one's beliefs have become cold. It is said that the love of most will grow cold. Because the word of God is ignored, people turn and hate each other. The closer we get to the end times, the more fierce human relationships become."
