“What Beast with Seven Heads and Ten Horns Emerges from the Sea?” (Shincheonji Seminar Series: 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings', Lesson 12)

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Min-hee Kim] On the 14th February, the most recent lecture of the seminar series 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings' was delivered by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Chairman Man-hee Lee), as the total number of seminar views have now exceeded 10 million.

On 10th February, lecturer Jung-min So of Thomas tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, delivered a seminar entitled '[Lesson 11] The Figurative Sea, Fishermen, Net, Fish, Ship', which followed the seminar by lecturer Min-kyu Kim of Seoul James tribe on the 10th. 

Lecturer So opened the lecture by asking a question about the reality of the beast that comes out of the sea in Revelation 13:2. According to the last lecture, lesson 11, the meaning of the figurative (spiritual) sea is the religious world that Satan controls.

Lecturer So said, “The spiritual beast recorded in the prophetic books of the Bible includes beasts belonging to God and beasts belonging to Satan. You can see that this is a beast belonging to Satan, the devil.”

What is the meaning of the figurative beast and the heads, horns and tails attached to them? Lecturer So said, “In the prophetic books of the Bible, the beast refers to a person.” He explained, “In the book of Revelation, the beast refers to a group of false shepherds who speak lies, the head refers to the head shepherd, and the horn refers to one who rules who belongs to the head, that is, an elder.”

He also said, “If you look at Isaiah 9:14-16, the tail speaks of a false prophet belonging to the beast.”

Next, lecturer So testified about the location where the beast appeared. Lecturer So emphasised, “If you look at the content of Revelation 13:2 and Revelation 12:3-4, the place where the beast appears is the tabernacle of heaven where God was with the chosen people.”

He continued, “When the shepherds and congregation of God who were in the tabernacle of heaven betrayed, a beast with seven heads and ten horns came up from the sea. This beast is a destroyer who received power, throne, and authority from the dragon. The fact that the beast has seven heads and ten horns means that seven shepherds and ten rulers formed an organisation and entered the tabernacle of heaven.”

He also said that the reason they went into the tabernacle of heaven was to destroy the tabernacle of heaven. Lecturer So said, “The tail that was with them, the false prophet, did this.” He testified that “these are the beings who deceived God’s chosen people with lies and changed them from once belonging to God to belonging to Satan, the devil.”

Finally, he said, “As prophesied in the Bible, when the betrayers, destroyers, and Saviour appears, you cannot distinguish them based on their outward appearance. You can only do so according to the process and order of the written Word of the Bible.” He concluded, “I sincerely hope you understand this.”

On the 17th, a lecturer from John tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus will deliver a lecture entitled '[Lesson 13] The Figurative Blood and Flesh of the Lamb.'

Shincheonji Church of Jesus will hold the seminar series 'Testimony on the Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and Their True Meanings' a total of 24 times, twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays at 10am, until 28th March 2022.
