[Shincheonji Bible Seminar] Changed pastors reveal feelings of repentance, gratitude, surprise and relief
“Churches that have been actively engaged with Shincheonji Church of Jesus are currently moving toward reorganisation. It is expected that the number of pastors who listen to the Word from Shincheonji and think, ‘A new era is being ushered in’, will increase. It appears that the overseas craze for the revealed word of Shincheonji has now reached pastors in South Korea as well.” - Pastor A at Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Seoul
“While studying and teaching the Bible, I had many questions such as, ‘What does this verse mean?’, and, ‘How should I interpret this verse?’ As I listened to today's sermon, these questions were perfectly answered.” - Pastor B at Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Busan
“I think the biggest difference between Shincheonji and general Protestantism is that Shincheonji clearly understands about the Second Coming of the Lord without ambiguity.” - Pastor C at Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Daejeon
“What I've learned to date has been very wrong. I've since taken a liking to the revealed Word from Shincheonji to the extent that I wish to forget what I've originally learnt and study the Bible again. I want to continue learning and share it with others.” - Pastor D at Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Incheon
“The established denominations think that only they are right, but what is important is whether the teachings are biblically correct. When I examined the Book of Revelation in Shincheonji, every single thing that was said was correct. It's true that the Book of Revelation has been fulfilled up to Revelation 17. It also felt remarkable learning that the 12 tribes (God's new kingdom and new people) have been created according to the Bible. If you check for yourself, you'll see it's literally written in the Bible.” - Pastor E at Shincheonji Bible Seminar in Daegu
These are the confessions of church leaders (pastors, evangelists, and preachers) who attended Chairman Lee's lectures given at the Shincheonji Bible Seminar of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony in the first half of this year (April to July) and the second half of this year.
Chairman Lee has been holding lectures for pastors in major cities across South Korea to testify that the prophecy of Revelation has been fulfilled and is asking pastors to confirm this.
The Shincheonji Bible Seminar attracts hundreds of pastors each time, demonstrating great interest from the religious community. The number of attendees at the initial Shincheonji Bible Seminar, which was held for two months starting in April, was approximately 460,000 from all over the world, both online and offline, of which approximately 54,000 were pastors.
11,200 people attended the Shincheonji Bible Seminar lectures held five times in the second half of the year in October, of which 1150 were pastors. The Shincheonji Bible Seminar, which was simultaneously broadcast live on YouTube, received a lot of attention with thousands of people watching each lecture. These results reflect pastors' growing interest in Shincheonji's revealed theology.
Those who regarded Shincheonji Church of Jesus as a heresy are reacting quite differently from before after directly encountering the Word from Shincheonji.
Former and current pastors who had previously regarded Shincheonji as a heresy were amazed at the teachings of the Bible in Shincheonji Church of Jesus after listening to Chairman Lee's lecture, and expressed their feelings of it as an opportunity to quench their thirst for the Word, admitting that they did not know the Book of Revelation even after decades of ministry. They also expressed a desire to enable associate pastors and church members to experience the lectures on the Word.
One pastor, who reflected on his 30 years of pastoral life and regretted his mistakes as a pastor, said, “I, who had no word, have made my church members into fools and prevented them from going to heaven. I've nothing to say before God.”
