The Presbyterian Church of Korea and the John Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony are holding the first pastors' football friendly at the Seosuwon Chilbo Gymnasium in Suwon on the 18th November. The friendly match is in progress.
While meaningful events are being held in the religious world, the John Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji John Tribe) held the first pastors' football friendly at Seosuwon Chilbo Gymnasium in Suwon City on the 18th November.

This event was organised with the purpose of promoting harmony and dialogue through sports, regardless of religious affiliation. A total of 15 people attended, including pastors from the Presbyterian Church of Korea and pastors who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The MOU enables church congregations to receive the teachings of the revealed word from Shincheonji.

On that day, the game between Shincheonji's John Tribe and the Presbyterian Church of Korea was held for a total of 4 quarters of 20 minutes each.

A pastor who attended the friendly said, “I think it was a good opportunity to interact in various ways and grow together.”

An official from the John Tribe of Shincheonji said, “Rather than which team won, the significance of the game was to understand each other, work hard and together in harmony over football.” He added, “It is a meaningful event that can lead to opportunities for further unity with pastors in the future.”
