Hwajeong Church (Simon Tribe) of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Shincheonji Hwajeong Church) held a photo exhibition to celebrate Shincheonji’s 100,000 Graduation Ceremony near Deokyang District office and Hwajeong station, South Korea, from the 10th to 11th of February.

Passers-by stopped to look at photos of the card section performance, among other performances. Speaking of the card performance, passers said, “The colours are beautiful”, and “It’s incredible how every participant was able to keep order even though there were 100,000 graduates there.”

Journalists in Korea and overseas have paid particular interest to the number of graduates from outside of Korea and numerous articles covering the 100,000 graduation ceremony have been published. Journalists who had been covering the news about Shincheonji Church in their respective regions are surprised to learn that Shincheonji has grown over the years in every aspect, including its scale and culture.

Some journalists have said to Shincheonji Church, “We heard that there are churches outside South Korea which have changed their signage to 'Shincheonji'. We hope that you won’t stop there. We hope Shincheonji will spread and engage more with the local community and fulfil your role as the light and salt of the earth.”

Shincheonji Hwajeong Church officials said, “Seeing the visitors of the photo exhibition carefully examine each and every image and message, we feel that people now want to know thoroughly about Shincheonji. We’ll put more effort into community engagement by consistently holding these photo exhibitions.”
