“We can live in comfort today because of the veterans of war who dedicated their lives to defend our country. The reason I participated today is because I know the pains of war.”

On March 11th, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group John Tribe carried out the 'Hyeonchungbogam' campaign near Subong Park in Incheon. Participant Ms. Eun-young Kim (64, female) expressed her reasons for volunteering.

In Korea, the treatment of military veterans who dedicated their lives for the peace of the country during the 6.25 War is, arguably, lacking. Therefore, the 'Hyeonchungbogam' campaign is designed to widely publicise and record valuable objects and deeds of national pride.

On that day, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group John Tribe actively promoted the culture of veterans welfare by informing people about the cemetery facilities installed in Incheon, and is continuing volunteer work to protect the cemetery facilities and awaken love for the country and the region.

With love and peace as its foundation - and active in 77 branches domestically with a membership of 350,000 - the Shincheonji Volunteer Group carries out social contribution projects in various fields including the environment, veterans' affairs, the disabled sector, public interest and culture, transcending religion, race and national borders.
