Shincheonji Busan Church Holds First 'Spring' Open House of the Year
“I hope that this open house event will serve as an opportunity to fill your hearts deep with hope.”
The Busan Church of the Busan James tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Busan Church), held its first open house event of the year under the theme of “A New Me, Blooming Like Spring,” at the Shincheonji Busan Church on the 8th. The leader of the Busan James tribe delivered a stirring lecture to an audience of around 800 visitors, including local figureheads, family members, and acquaintances of the church members, and said the above.
The tribe leader opened the lecture with the question, “On the surface, South Korea seems very affluent and has become an economic powerhouse. But are you really living well?”
He continued, “Although the present age is much more affluent than the past, it seems that we are living in worse conditions due to the abundance of relative poverty, deprivation, and unhappiness.” He emphasised, “We need material things, but we should not be greedy if they become tools that impact our emotional prosperity.”
He added, “Unlike the world that judges people by their appearance, Shincheonji Church of Jesus is a church that strives to help people live a better life based on the Bible,” and “It does not end with words, but testifies to the reality of the fulfilment, as prophesied in the Bible, which is why more and more people are flocking to it.”
In addition to the lecture, highlights of the 110,000 graduation ceremony were broadcast and the significance of Shincheonji Church of Jesus and its various missionary activities were exhibited through a docent's explanation at the information booth.
Moreover, various activities were organised for family, friends and acquaintances to enjoy, including a photo zone, health and experience booths, and cultural performances by the youth and children's cheering squad, drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience.
