Shincheonji Volunteer Group Masan conveys the importance of domestic and global peace

“I hope that every fragment of love expressed for our region will grow and result in an expression of love for the country and for world peace” said an individual at the 8th 'Love Your Country, Share Peace' event hosted by Shincheonji Volunteer Group Masan Branch on the 19th August in South Korea.

At this event, held on the theme of 'Again, Peace', various peace volunteer activities were conducted and a peace conference was held to share various opinions on conflict and peace issues. At the meeting, the Masan branch talked about ways and efforts to realise peace with figures from various fields. Through this, 15 participants signed an MOU to cooperate for peace and pledged their commitment to peace.

One individual from the arts industry said at the conference, “Art can be used as a tool to realise peace, and when expressed from different perspectives, can be of great help on the road to peace.” In addition, Chang-ho Seong, head of the Masan branch, emphasised, “Peace is possible if all participants cooperate and make peace a reality.”

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Volunteer Group has held the 'Love Your Country, Share Peace' event nationwide in the hope of world peace and to commemorate the national patriots and veterans month. A variety of activities have been held under the theme of 'Let's not forget the sacrifice and spirits of the martyred patriots'. Through this, participants remembered the sacrifices of the past and shared the importance of peace.

Moreover, on that day, along with the 'Love Your Country, Share Peace' event, the Korea Red Cross Gyeongnam Blood Centre delivered a plaque of appreciation for blood donation to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Masan Church.

Jae-seong Ha, director of Gyeongnam Blood Centre, said, “Many people participated in the blood donation - particularly the youth, who did so with one heart.”
