“As the saying goes, 'You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change', today is that day of opportunity.”

Mr. A, who attended the 'Taking On a Second Chance at Life' seminar, said, “I think I've come to new beginnings today and realised how ignorant I was about the Bible.”

On the 17th August, at a seminar titled 'Taking On a Second Chance at Life' held in Seo district, Daejeon, the leader of Matthias tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, said, “God created man and breathed life into him, and he became a living being.” “People are divided into two groups,” he said.

He continued, “A person who has become a living being becomes someone who receives God’s blessings to the extent that he or she can be with God.”

He said, “God’s promises are recorded in the Bible, but those promises have not yet been fulfilled, and people are living in pain because they do not know these promises. I hope we can take heart knowing them together.”

On that day, after the seminar, tribe leader Bang-sik Jang explained to the attendees that a Taegeukgi (Korean national flag) had been prepared as a gift of love for the country on Liberation Day.

One attendee who received the Taegeukgi said, “This is the first time I've ever been gifted a Taegeukgi.”
