When it concerns the Christian scripture, there is something that always raises eyebrows: Revelation. This final book of the Bible records God’s plan to restore this world and all creation back to Him; a world of peace without mourning, death, crying or pain, as he promises in  Revelation 21:4.

For the last 2000 years, believers and non-believers alike have tried to assert their own interpretation of the meaning of Revelation. But Revelation is written in language that can not be understood until its contents are fulfilled. As with all the other Biblical books of prophecy (promise), God promises future events which are fulfilled at an appointed time. It is only when this fulfilment takes place and the physical reality of what was promised appears that one can then understand its true meaning. The same applies for Revelation.

At the first coming, Jesus Christ was God's promised pastor who fulfilled the Old Testament promise and clearly explained the true meaning of the Old Testament promise and fulfilment (Jn 19:30). But only 12 people accepted his testimony. The religious authorities persecuted him, labelled him ‘demon-possessed’ and a ‘sect’, and finally crucified him. Yet he was considered righteous in God's eyes and "the way, the truth and the life." Before Jesus bore the cross for the sins of humanity, he made a new, final promise which he said would be fulfilled when he returns. We are now living in the time when this final promise is being fulfilled. Will the religious world accept this?

Today, the promises within the book of Revelation are being fulfilled and plainly testified by the God and Jesus’ promised pastor. He is Jesus' promised messenger who is making known the events of the entire book of Revelation that he has seen and heard (Rv 22:8, 16). According to the Bible, anyone who desires to receive salvation must know the true meaning of God and Jesus' final promise in Revelation.
