To satisfy believers’ hunger for the truth of the Bible and to resolve the general public’s misunderstandings about Shincheonji church, Shincheonji church has been holding numerous Bible seminars throughout the Republic of Korea. Simon tribe’s Paju branch held a seminar entitled "Carefully Understand Revelation" at the local city hall on 24th April 2019. The seminar incorporated a lecture on the theme 'What is Shincheonji and the word of Revelation?'  

The lecturer gave a clear explanation about the promised pastor and promised temple in Revelation. He firstly xplained that the reason Revelation is given to us beforehand is so that we can believe in it when its promises are fulfilled (see Jn 14:29). He continued on saying that although the disciples endured much persecution and later martyrdom at the first coming in order to follow Jesus, they did so because they knew that he was the promised pastor of the Old Testament. Therefore, at this time when the promises of Revelation are being fulfilled, we also have to find the promised pastor of the New Testament. He stressed that one must not add to, or take away from, the word of fulfilment when it appears (Rv 22:18-19). In the words of the lecturer, "Shincheonji church is the place which bears witness to the entire events of the book of Revelation. The evidence of prophecy and fulfilment is the true evidence. You must check this evidence and walk on the path towards heaven.”

Some participants were able to resolve their misunderstandings about Shincheonji church after attending the seminar. Mr. Kim Young Jin (25), said, "I regret that I misunderstood and judged my friend. I would like to check more deeply about the book of Revelation with my friend. Today I was not happy coming here at first but, in the end, I received a great gift."
