Parables of Heaven Explained Plainly in Revelation
In the Old Testament, God
promised about future events where someone would speak in parables about “hidden
things from of old” (Ps78:2). Jesus Christ came to fulfil this promise 2000 years
ago (Mt13), speaking in parables to the crowds as recorded throughout the four
Gospels. Jesus then promised about future events that would take place when he
returns. This promise is recorded in parables in the book of Revelation. Not one
person over the last 2000 years has been able to clearly understand Revelation
because Jesus sealed it in seven seals. However, Jesus Christ promised that a time
would come when this final promise would be fulfilled and explained plainly (Jn
16:25). This time is the ‘end of the age’ (Mt 13:39) after the gospel has been preached
to the ends of the earth (Mt 24:14).
How is this sealed book of
Revelation opened? After the messengers of the seven churches refuse to repent
after Jesus sends them letters in Rv 2-3, ‘John’ is taken up to heaven where he
sees God and Jesus’ throne (Rv 4-5). Jesus (‘Lamb’ in Rv 5) takes the sealed
scroll (Revelation) from God’s right hand and begins to opens it seals in Rv 6.
This opened scroll is then given to ‘John’ who makes known everything he has
seen and heard at the location of the events promised in Revelation.
Today, these secrets of heaven
recorded in parables have been opened and are being explained plainly by Jesus’
promised messenger who has seen and heard all the events of Revelation (Rv
22:8, 16). Jesus - who is spirit - is working through his promised messenger to
fulfil this final promise. Will the religious world open their hearts to perceive
this? Those who put their hopes in heaven must find Jesus’ promised pastor and understand
the true meaning of the promises and fulfilment of Revelation.
