In celebration of 'Patriots and Veterans Month', the Cheonan branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group made and delivered homemade bread to the Korean War Veterans' Association (Cheonan branch) as an expression of gratitude for the noble sacrifices of veterans who gave their lives for the peace of Korea.

On 20th June, about 30 volunteers, under the guidance of a baking expert, participated with great care in the preparation process, from preparing the dough and fillings to packaging the bread.

Si-yeon Kim, a college student who participated in making homemade bread, said, “When I saw the process of making a single loaf of bread, I saw dozens of hands working together and thought about the passion and sacrifice of many people who protected the country until today’s Republic of Korea came into being.”

Min-ho Noh, head of the Cheonan branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, said, “We will always remember those who contributed to making Korea what it is today.”
