On 18th June, the members of Shincheonji Volunteer Group organised a meaningful event to raise awareness about the importance of memorial facilities in Incheon.

The event was held in celebration of Patriots and Veterans Month (June).

The event, called "Hyunchungbogam," took place at the Sobong Park Memorial Tower on the 18th. "Hyunchungbogam" means promoting patriotism by highlighting valuable stories and the noble acts of those who served the nation of Korea.

Since January, this initiative, led by the John Tribe of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, has been sharing the history and significance of around 48 memorial sites in Incheon.

Citizens participated by placing stickers on panels to count the memorials and writing thank-you messages to patriots.

The volunteers also gave out Taegukgi (Korean national flag) badges and windmills to participants, spreading national pride and gratitude.

Hwang-ju Lee, head of the John tribe branch, said, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the citizens who participated in promotional activities despite the hot weather.”
