Pastors of the Korean Church overcome prejudice as they flock to the Shincheonji Bible Seminar on Revelation

by - 09:02

250 pastors attended the 'Bible Seminar for Pastors: Testimony of the Fulfilled Realities of Revelation' held at the Shincheonji Peace Training Institute in Gapyeong Province, South Korea, on the 8th June. Chairman Lee spoke in depth and with conviction, for nearly 90 minutes, about the prophecies and fulfilled realities of the events recorded in the Book of Revelation that he has witnessed firsthand.

Hundreds of pastors who were curious about the cause of Shincheonji's growth attended the lecture in person under the condition that their identities would not be disclosed to the media. This is because of the resistance from established denominations to the unusual growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which is preparing for its fourth 100,000 graduation ceremony this year.

The reason for pastors submitting a 'non-disclosure of pastoral status' prior to attendance at the Bible Seminar for Pastors is because if it is known that they attended the Shincheonji Bible Seminar, the pastors would be questioned by their denomination. The Korean Church fears not only its Protestant believers but also pastors moving to Shincheonji.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus will give the revealed theology (word) to any church that wants it, without conditions. As of the end of May this year, more than 10,300 domestic and foreign pastors, including a number of Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist leaders, are taking the Bible course on Revelation taught at the Zion Christian Mission Centre of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

One official of Shincheonji Church of Jesus said, “The Korean church has no vision (future) because it has no word.” In other words, if there is the word (truth), the Korean church has a future.

The duty of a shepherd is to feed the flock of sheep. Now that it is time for the fulfilment of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, pastors must honestly check whether they are providing pasture for the ‘sheep.’ Above all, this is a time when courage and determination is needed to listen and see for ourselves why Shincheonji's message attracts people.
