From the physical to the spiritual seed: today’s promised harvest in the Bible (Shincheonji church)
Since Adam betrayed God 6000 years ago, God has been working to
restore all creation back to Him by putting an end to sin, as evidenced in the Bible. However, man, who has
been born of Adam’s seed since that time, has been unable to solve this problem of sin. Sin
found its way through every generation since Adam, including Noah, Abraham, Moses
and the twelve tribes of Israel who betrayed God by worshipping false gods under King Solomon
(1Kings 11).
Man was unable to remain faithful to God. This is why God had to choose someone born of His (spiritual)
seed who was conceived through the Spirit - not flesh - in order to achieve His purpose. God
promised to do a ‘new thing’ and sow His seed through the prophet Jeremiah (Jer 31). 600 years later, God sent His
only son, Jesus Christ, born of God's seed (Mt 1).
If we think physically, the purpose of farming is to harvest a crop from that seed sown in the spring months. It is the same spiritually. Jesus not only fulfilled prophecy, but also sowed God's seed (Mt 13) and promised to return to harvest its fruit (Mt 13:30). Today, 2000 years later, the fruit of this seed sown are being harvested and brought into God's promised church - Shincheonji Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (abbreviated as 'Shincheonji church'). These people become the reality of the promised 12 tribes sealed with a perfect understanding of God's word (Rv 7, 14). This is the place where God's 6000-year toil will come to an end and God will finally return to dwell with all creation: a life of peace, without sin or death. It is truly hopeful.
