The nationwide Open Bible Seminar sought to teach the true meaning of the Bible for people with seeking hearts and to resolve any misunderstanding about Shincheonji church. The main content of the lectures taught at the Open Bible Seminar series includes the new covenant, God’s 6000-year history recorded in the Bible, the identity of the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that appeared in Genesis, the signs of the end of the age, and the true meaning of the book of Revelation. 24 questions posed about life by the late Lee Byung-chul, the former CEO of Samsung, have also been lectured on.

The most recent three-day seminar means that over 20,000 residents in Daejeon have now attended the seminars that first began in Daejeon in November 2018. The entire church was used to run this three-day seminar under the theme 'God's Letter' with lectures delivered on the existence of God, the purpose of one’s faith and understanding oneself in the context of faith. Lectures were accompanied by various musical performances put on by Shincheonji church members.

One local guest at the seminar, who came with his whole family, said, "It was great to experience such high-quality performances of art and music put on by the youth in Daejeon. Shincheonji church’s Daejeon branch is proper and it has given me the opportunity to change my thinking."

A representative of the Daejeon branch of Shincheonji church said, "I am grateful to see so many citizens having visited the church in these last three days.
