In March 2026, various branches of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group carried out environmental cleanup campaigns throughout Korea, as part of the ongoing “Nature, Let’s Be Green” initiative.

On 16th March, volunteers from the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Iksan Branch carried out an environmental maintenance campaign around schools in the Madong area of Iksan City, North Jeolla Province.

On that day, 20 volunteers scoured a 3km stretch near a university and primary school in Madong and amassed 180 litres of waste strewn across roadside flowerbeds and pedestrian crossings.

The purpose is to improve pedestrian environments, providing students with an amiable route to and from school, and encourage civic awareness regarding waste disposal and community responsibility.

Meanwhile, the “Nature, Let’s Be Green” campaign reflects an approach that combines direct action with public awareness.

Rather than focusing solely on one-time cleanup events, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Iksan Branch has committed to regular engagement, aiming to transform environmental habits through consistency.
