[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Hye-ji Lim] On 20th December, a lecture from the seminar series 'Testimony on Prophecy and Fulfillment of Revelation, God's New Covenant' was delivered by Mr. Ki-won Lee, the leader of John tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee, Shincheonji Church of Jesus).
Following the lecture on Revelation chapter 20 by Yong-no Lee of Busan James tribe on 16th December, this tribe leader testified about the meaning and reality of Revelation chapter 21.
With the title, 'The Promised New Heaven and New Earth, Shincheonji,' the tribe leader testified about the meaning and reality of the 'new heaven and new earth', saying, “At the first coming, Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament and left to the spiritual world. He said that he would come again when that place is ready (John 14:2~3).” He explained, “This place is the 'new heaven' and the holy city New Jerusalem.”
He continued, “The new heaven, the holy city New Jerusalem that is created this way, will come down from God from heaven.” He said, “It will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
The tribe leader said, “The New Jerusalem, the holy city of the spiritual world as seen in the Bible, has the 12 disciples of Jesus as its foundation stones. In this way, the place where the 12 tribes are is where the spiritual names of the 12 disciples of Jesus are, and this place becomes the new earth in the last days. This is the reality that has been fulfilled on earth as it is in heaven, and this is proof of heaven.”
He continued, “Is there any other purpose of our life of faith than to go to heaven? Dear pastors, seminarians and believers - if our goal is to be in heaven, I hope that we will continue to believe in the new heaven and new earth, Shincheonji, where the work of heaven takes place.”
He added, “I believe that we are all believers with the same hope of heaven and eternal life. Do you believe in the same God, and in the same Jesus, and read the same Bible? Then let's not bicker, and let's become one, and let's all enter the longed-for heaven and eternal life. We are one in God and in Jesus.”
Meanwhile, the seminar series 'Testimony on Prophecy and Fulfillment of Revelation, God's New Covenant' will conclude with a special lecture to be delivered by Chairman Man-hee Lee on the 27th.
