Attendees listen attentively during a sermon gathering titled "Testimony on the Fulfilment of the Book of Revelation" held at Shincheonji's Gangdong Church on the 6th September.

“The message on Revelation was one I'd never heard in any established denomination...Because the teaching is biblical, once you hear it, you can't help but believe.”

On September 6th 2025, Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Gangdong Church (part of the John Tribe), held a large-scale Bible seminar on the theme “Testimony on the Fulfilment of Revelation,” drawing an in-person attendance of 1000 people, including 100 pastors, and an additional 2000 attending online. Pastor Kim, who served in the Presbyterian Church for 45 years, expressed his thoughts (quoted above) following the lecture.

Delivering the lecture, the John Tribe Leader Chang-ho Seong focused on unveiling the meaning of the Book of Revelation and its fulfilment. He emphasised that Revelation records God’s purpose and Christ’s promises, which are now being revealed in reality.

“God’s purpose is to dwell with His people,” he explained. “Revelation shows how this purpose will be accomplished and how all creation will be renewed. If we truly hope for heaven, we must know God’s promises and see how they are fulfilled today.”

Citing Revelation 1:3 and 22:18-19, he reminded attendees that blessing belongs to those who keep the words of Revelation, while adding or subtracting from it leads to exclusion from heaven.

“Shincheonji testifies to both the meaning and the reality of Revelation,” he added. “By learning this Word, believers can gain certainty in their faith and confidence in the hope of eternal life.”

The response to the seminar by the attendees was noteworthy.

One participant described the message as 'eye-opening', saying:-
“This was the first time in my life hearing such words. It gave me a new way to see Scripture.”

Another attendee who had lived a life of faith for 40 years commented, “The explanation was clear, even for beginners. I am deeply grateful.”

A Shincheonji John Tribe representative concluded:
“Revelation 22 warns that those who add to or take away from this book cannot enter heaven. This seminar was an opportunity to learn Revelation without alteration and to reaffirm faith in God’s promises. We will continue to hold seminars to spread the testimony of Revelation’s fulfilment to many more.”
