Shincheonji Wonju Church signs MOU with established church pastor for inter-religious harmony

The Wonju Church of Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Shincheonji Wonju Church) and a pastor of an established church signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cooperation for a common goal within Christianity.

The MOU agreement, which was signed at the PR Centre in Wonju City, Republic of Korea on the 27th of June, is a pledge between both groups to work together so that believers around the world can practise the faith that God wants them to have based on the correct knowledge of the Bible.

To date, around 13,000 churches worldwide have signed MOUs with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Of this figure, around 1300 churches have changed their signage to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

The pastor who signed the MOU said, “I think Shincheonji is a place that teaches the Bible so well and in an engaging way.”

A Shincheonji Wonju Church official said, “Our hope is that through the continued MOU signing, the entire Christian church will be revived and bring glory to God.”
