Shincheonji Church of Jesus' Philip Tribe, “Enjoy a cup of coffee at the Heavenly Culture Promotion Centre”
“I came to the Heavenly Culture Promotion Centre with a friend, and at first I felt burdened. However, after listening to the explanation about Shincheonji Church of Jesus, a lot of my misunderstandings were resolved, the coffee they gave me was delicious, and I enjoyed watching a great performance.”
These are the words expressed by local citizen Jin-i Won (53, female), who visited the Philip Tribe promotion centre of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
The promotion centre was opened in Wonju City at the end of last year and is resolving misconceptions and misunderstandings about Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
Spread across multiple floors, guides and docents inform visitors about Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, the church's growth history, and the meaning of the Zion Christian Mission Centre. There are also photo exhibitions and videos of the 100,000 graduation ceremony, online seminars and global Bible Seminar, MOUs with churches around the world, churches that changed their signs to Shincheonji, the 2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar by continent, cultural and artistic performances, and beautiful photos of the volunteer work carried out by Shincheonji volunteers. The second floor is home to a warm exhibition space where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
The docent on that day explained the meaning of the church, saying, “The official name 'Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony' is a holy temple where God and Jesus are and a place that testifies to the fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation.”
