South Africa Photo Exhibition of Shincheonji’s 100,000 Graduation Ceremony: “Uniting As One to Better Serve our Communities”

by - 11:26

On the 14th of January 2023, the Pietermaritzburg branch of Shincheonji Church of Jesus hosted its first ever picture and video exhibition. Many pastors, church leaders, ward councillors, journalists and various non-profit organisations from different cities and churches came to the event, which was also held online.
During the exhibition, attendees were shown all the activities of the church as well as community projects organised by the congregation members. These projects included Blood Drives to aid the South African National Blood Service due to the depleted blood reserves, as well as support efforts to help those who suffered during the recent floods in KwaZulu-Natal. Lastly, the church showcased their recent graduation where more than 100,000 theology students from 82 countries participated.

The second part of the event was a video exhibition explaining about Shincheonji, and its theology. Many of the attendees enjoyed the event, the presentations and the way it was planned surprised many people.
“I got a lot of wisdom on how to complete my role as a junior pastor. The word shared here is different from any other I have heard before.”
-Pastor Nhlanhla Mncwabe expressing a word of thanks at the event.
Many other attendees shared a lot of positive comments about the exhibition. In the end, many pastors registered and signed-up to study through the special Bible Course offered free of charge by Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
Msizi Magwaza, the representative of the church, shared that the church will be hosting a Bible Course starting on the 30th of January 2023. The purpose of the course is to help believers learn about the promises of God regarding our times today, the parables in the Bible, the new covenant made with the blood of Jesus and the correct understanding of the book of Revelation.
However, the work of Shincheonji does not stop here but has spread beyond the borders of Pietermaritzburg. In Lesotho, Pastor Joseph Sado shared that as soon as he saw Shincheonji’s video, he was very excited about the work that the church is doing and expressed his desire to also participate in future community projects, study through the Bible course and he officially signed an MOU with Shincheonji. Furthermore, new relationships have also been established with pastors in Newcastle.
