[Cheonji Ilbo Cheongju = Reporter Jinhee Lee] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Cheongju Church of Matthias tribe (head lecturer Mu-gyeom Je) announced on the 2nd that it had held a couples coaching seminar in Yeongdong, Cheongju on the 30th of September.

This event, which was prepared to restore communication between families, which can often be neglected amidst the busyness of modern daily life, was decorated with the slogan 'Shincheonji Couples Night: Bride's Night', and incorporated a time of fun, conversation, and couples' activities.

Couples who attended the event had time to get to know their spouses they did not know well, even if they were close, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the disconnection of communication. Through the 'couples coaching' solution, participants learned how to develop positive conversation patterns by hearing candid stories shared by real couples.

Lecturer Hyo-seong Kim said, “If a conversation pattern that hurts each other develops, it becomes more difficult to grow the relationship.” She emphasised, “If one receives a compliment from their other half, even in a small way, the brain processes to weaken the negative conversations of the past. It becomes a pattern in which one's entangled emotions are unravelled.”

Do-young Kim (58 years old, male, Bok Dae-dong), who attended the event with his wife, said, “I learned that a closer relationship can grow when minor misunderstandings are resolved. I hope there will be many more seminars in the future.”

Head lecturer Mu-gyeom Je said, “Marriage, children, and spousal issues are issues that can be solved step by step.”

Meanwhile, Cheongju Church (Matthias tribe) of Shincheonji Church of Jesus is holding various events every month to strengthen relationships and communication among family members and acquaintances.
