"Curious about Revelation?" Bible Seminar
Shincheonji
Church of Jesus, The Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereon ‘Shincheonji
church’) held 15 Bible seminars nationwide in April to teach the public a correct
understanding of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and to inform them about the
truth of Shincheonji church. One of Shincheonji church’s most recent seminars
was held at Thaddaeus tribe’s Daegu branch. The themes were 'Overview and Fulfillment
of the New Testament Book of Revelation’ and ‘Unravelling the Book of
Revelation, Heaven’s Last Secret.'
The seminar purposed
to satisfy the curiosity of the Bible through understanding of the New
Covenant, God’s 6,000-year history, the tree of life and the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, and the signs of the end of the age and the faith believers
should have. Stands were also set up to inform guests about Shincheonji church
itself, including the history and growth of Shincheonji church, the social and peace
activities of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, the operation of the Zion Christian
Mission Center which teaches the public for free, doctrinal comparisons with
the established Church and the many press releases promoting the church.
To date, thousands
of people have come to Shincheonji church’s Bible seminars. Matthias tribe’s
Daejeon branch held its first seminar on 12th of April with an attendance of 5000,
followed by another at Peter tribe’s
Songha branch, Gwangju, on the 14th April (4000 attendance) and another
at Andrew tribe’s Busan branch on the 20thApril (2000 attendance). Shincheonji church is opening its doors to the public so that people can listen to the true, logical teachings of the Bible, satisfy their spiritual thirst and resolve any misunderstandings about Shincheonji church. In the words of a Shincheonji church representative, "Anyone
who has a question about the Bible, wants to know the real meaning of the book
of Revelation or wants to listen to the doctrine regarding the book of
Revelation can participate in the seminar. In May, regular seminars will be
held to inform the public about the correct interpretation of the Bible in
order to quench one’s spiritual hunger and thirst.”
