The Difference between Shincheonji Church of Jesus and the Christian Council of Korea
Firstly, we should examine the roots of these two organisations. The CCK is
based on the teachings of the 16th century theologian, John Calvin, who established Calvinism (an offshoot of Presbyterianism) and killed
men, women and children who opposed his beliefs on predestination. During the
Japanese occupation of Korea (1910-1945), the Korean Presbyterian Church sided
with the occupiers by bowing down to their shrines and acted as informants by
selling them weapons for use against their own people. Just like King Solomon (1Kings 11), they
worshipped false gods, and, like Israel, Korea was divided in two. The CCK was later founded in December 1989 with
Presbyterianism as its main power source.
Shincheonji, on the other hand, has appeared according to what Jesus promised in the New Testament. It is the church where the harvested firstfruits gather and are sealed (Revelation 14, 7 respectively) and can testify to the fulfilment of the entire Book of Revelation through the logical process of 5Ws and 1H. Moreover, Shincheonji can explain the meaning of the entire 66 books of the Bible.
Ironically, although CCK believes in Jesus as the fulfilment of the Old Testament promises, but they do not believe in the one Jesus as the fulfilment of the New Testament promises. The CCK teaches according to its pastors’ thoughts and is sowing lies into the hearts of its congregation members in an attempt to keep tight rein of their power and authority. Like Calvin, they have tried to forcibly convert Shincheonji believers and murdered two people and kidnapped over 1200 in the process through their coercive conversion programme (see previous articles). This is all being committed beneath the guise of religion. Moreover, 571 of their pastors have been sentenced for crimes in the last four years including fraud, drink-driving, sexual assault and murder. Following dozens of rallies worldwide, the United Nations and many global religious leaders are now decrying their practice.

The only way to salvation is going to the place God and Jesus have promised in
the New Testament. 600BC, God promised that he would create a 'new thing' (Jeremiah
31:22). This was fulfilled by Jesus Christ, who sowed God’s seed (Matthew
13:24-30) and promised to return to harvest its fruits (Matthew 13:30,
Revelation 14:14-16). Today, at the time of the fulfilment of the New Testament
prophecies 2000 years later, these firstfruits are being harvested into God's
new kingdom and sealed with the word of God (Revelation 7). Shincheonji
Church has mastered the prophecies of the New Testament Revelation, according
to God's promise, and this word of God is being delivered freely without cost through
the mouth of the messenger (promised pastor) promised by Jesus Christ
(Revelation 22:16).
