“This training was designed to equip us with the ability to respond quickly and calmly even if an unexpected fire breaks out in a church where many people gather.”
With this mindset of respect for life and safety as expressed by an official of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Gyeyang Church (Matthew Tribe) conducted fire safety training for approximately 50 congregants on November 11th.
The training was designed to ensure safety in the event of a fire, with active firefighters invited on site to instruct on fire prevention and response techniques, and participants being church members responsible for conducting worship services and maintaining order as the front lines of safety within the church.
The training content included fire prevention guidelines, fire evacuation procedures, fire extinguisher use (learning the correct techniques to directly hold and use extinguishers), and emergency 119 call reporting and initial response procedures.
Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus is committed to conducting fire safety trainings with local firefighters in order to minimise casualties and property damage in the event of a fire breakout.
