“I believe that the revival of Shincheonji Church of Jesus is because God is there.”

These are the words of Pastor In-jong Oh of the Presbyterian Church of Korea, one of the two major Presbyterian denominations in South Korea, who has attended the Shincheonji Bible Conferences five times in a row.

The number of pastors from the established churches attending the '2024 Shincheonji Bible Seminar on the Testimony of the Fulfillment of Revelation' series, which opened in Cheongju last month and has been consecutively held in major cities throughout Korea, is increasing with each session, reflecting the desire for a revival among pastors of the churches in Korea.

Just one day after the Bible Seminar held in Yeongdeungpo Seoul on the 5th, where a total of 14,000 people including 400 pastors and seminarians attended, 15,000 people, including 150 pastors, gathered in neighbouring Incheon. Thousands of congregation members, dressed neatly and brightly, have typically formed lines kilometres away from the respective church to welcome the pastors who visit Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

The reason Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been consistently holding these Bible conferences is to inform pastors of the established churches that the prophecies in the Book of Revelation, the last prophetic book of the Bible, have been fulfilled and that the fulfilled reality of the prophecies can be testified, and to inform them of the importance of having a Bible-centred faith.

Chairman Lee, who is the main speaker at all the Bible seminars, takes to the pulpit to testify the Word of God with conviction, centred on the Book of Revelation, preaching powerfully for 60-90 minutes. He is 94 years of age.

Chairman Lee typically opens the lecture by informing the pastors and believers in attendance that he has personally witnessed the fulfilment of the prophecies recorded in the Book of Revelation. He regularly emphasises that the word of God should be engraved in one's heart like a seal.

Citing Revelation 22:18-19, Chairman Lee repeatedly urges pastors not to add or subtract from Revelation, so that one can avoid being cursed and instead receive God's blessing of heaven. Chairman Lee said, “You cannot just have a cursory understanding of the Book of Revelation. Since it is written that if you add or subtract from it, you will not be able to enter heaven and will be cursed, you must continue to ask yourself and confirm whether you have added to or subtracted from the Book of Revelation or have mastered it.”

Chairman Lee has also emphasised to pastors, “If you have a faith that seeks respect or recognition, you become the enemy of God. The Book of Revelation is God’s final work. You must repent, master the Book of Revelation, and teach it.”

Chairman Lee always urges for unity throughout his sermons, saying, “The Bible is one and God is one. Let us become one in the Word and truly serve God.”

Pastors' response to the seminars have been surprisingly positive. Their solemn expression while taking a seat in the respective Church sanctuary prior to the arrival of Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, who delivers the sermon, changes to joy by the end of the sermon. Moreover, pastors are admitting in succession that the revealed Word delivered by Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, who explains the entire Book of Revelation from chapters 1 to 22 without hesitation, is true.

Pastor Jeong-sun Kim, who served in the Presbyterian Church for 12 years, said, “The words of Chairman Lee were amazing,” and “It was surprisingly a blessing to see him shout and scold like Jonah, telling people to repent. Everything he said was right, so I didn’t feel bad about the scolding.”

Another pastor said, “I will persuade the pastors around me to put aside what we know and listen to the words of the Book of Revelation at least once.”

Pastors are not only listening to the Word from the seminars, but also actively interacting with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. As of the end of last month, 747 churches in Korea and 13,127 churches in 84 countries overseas signed MOUs for biblical exchange with Shincheonji Church of Jesus. Among the pastors who listened to the sermon, 1,448 churches in 43 countries voluntarily changed their church signs to those of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.

Meanwhile, the number of YouTube views of the current Shincheonji Bible Seminar series has exceeded 500,000, including live streaming.
