Shincheonji Church of Jesus Holds Three Bible Seminars in a WEEK!

Shincheonji Church of Jesus began another round of Bible seminar series in September.

After holding four seminars in the South Korean cities of Cheongju, Cheonan, Masan, and Busan, Chairman ManHee Lee of Shincheonji Church of Jesus visited three churches in the Seoul region within one week.

At the most recent seminar in Incheon (Matthew tribe), Chairman Lee introduced himself and the story about how his life of faith began. He was a farmer in the countryside, and had never gone to church or practised a Christian life of faith. Then, the Korean War broke out and he fought at the frontlines. It was a deadly place to be, but he survived. Thanking God for saving his life, he prayed every evening. One evening, he encountered a bright light. From that day, he pledged a life of faith to God and read the Bible every day.

He always shares his story of life of faith to show the audience that he isn’t sharing what he learned from people, but the fulfilled reality of what he saw and heard.

While he was explaining, he recited Matthew 10, “Do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”

He also said, “Jesus at the first coming came to fulfil the prophecies of the Old Testament. Jesus at the second coming comes to fulfil the prophecies of the New Testament.” He also emphasised the importance of knowing Revelation by quoting Rev 22 that God and the kingdom of heaven will come to the earth. “If you believe in the Word, you must verify the testimony on Revelation. You should verify if the person is delivering the word after having witnessed the fulfilled realities of Revelation 1 to Revelation 22. If you’re a believer, you must believe in the word and keep it.” Chairman Lee concluded by saying, “Let’s truly serve God.”

Due to a lack of time, Chairman Lee testified the Word of Revelation from chapters 1 to 10. Explaining what it means to be sealed, that is, to engrave the word, the stamp of God, on people’s hearts, Chairman Lee went on to explain that the promised 144,000 people of the 12 tribes who are created according to Revelation (Rev 7 and Rev 14) are people who are sealed with the words of Revelation. In Rev 14 and Rev 15, the throne of God is with them.

He highlighted the importance of putting the word of God into practice. He said, “If one is not born again, one must be born again with the word of Revelation. Engraving the word of Revelation is to be sealed. If anyone adds or takes away from Revelation, that person cannot go to the kingdom of heaven (Rev 22:18-19).”

This year, Chairman Lee has visited 43 churches to listen to the voices of the faithful and create a better religious environment for them, despite being 94 years of age. The love of the Chairman for the congregation and the revealed Word of God is inspiring believers everywhere.
