Over 4000 members of Shincheonji Church who survived COVID-19 are donating their convalescent blood plasma to the Korean Green Cross Pharm to help develop a cure for COVID-19. “At a time when plasma donations to the Korean Green Cross have been low, Shincheonji Church's contribution is invaluable”, said Green Cross Pharma. With prices of blood plasma from biotech companies around the world ranging from $35,000-40,000USD per ml, Shincheonji Church's donation comes at a value of roughly $83 billion USD and equals 30% of the total confirmed cases in South Korea. In the US, this would be equivalent to a staggering 1,104,000 donations (as of 18th July 2020).
