The Seoul James tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (tribe leader Young-joo Yoo, hereinafter referred to as Seoul James Tribe) held the '100,000 Graduation Ceremony Street Photo Exhibition' to depict the emotions and excitement of the '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji: Class 114 of Zion Christian Mission Center' held at Daegu Stadium on the 12th November.
The event was held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 18th along the street next to Seoul City Hall and Seoul Library in Jung district, central Seoul.
The photographs on display depicted the orderly and safe transportation of buses to the venue (a staggering 2300 buses on graduation day) and the efforts to maintain cleanliness within the stadium, but above all captured the heavenly culture, which is the word of testimony on the fulfilled realities of the New Testament promise, through diverse art forms including dance, music, and costumes. In particular, visitors were taken aback by photos of a 15-minute card section performance with more than 10,000 participants on the theme of 'The Event of Betrayal, Destruction, and Salvation' according to the Book of Revelation in the New Testament.
Salma (27, France), who was visiting South Korea, said, “It's surprising that more than 100,000 people gathered within one year to complete the course. I'd never heard of Shincheonji, so I'm grateful for their kind explanation.” With a bright smile, she said, “This has been a memorable experience.”
An official from the Shincheonji Seoul James Tribe said, “Through this 100,000 graduation ceremony, we wish to make known the fact that God and Jesus are together with Shincheonji.”
Meanwhile, since its founding in 1991, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been holding a graduation ceremony every year for students who have completed up to 9 months of introductory, intermediate, and advanced level education through the Zion Christian Mission Centre, a free Bible education institution.
After producing 103,764 graduates at KINTEX in 2019 and 106,186 in 2022, Shincheonji Church of Jesus set a record of 108,084 graduates for the third time this year. What's even more surprising is that 80,000 people are currently taking the Zion Mission Centre course, so an even larger graduation ceremony is being planned for 2024.
