'Direct Lecture by Chairman Man-hee Lee' held in Busan

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee, Shincheonji Church of Jesus) held the 'Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation for Pastors' Open Bible Seminar at Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) in Busan on the 30th April.

Earlier, on the 22nd, the Shincheonji Bible Seminar 'Testimony on the Fulfillment of Revelation' held in Seoul stunned the religious world, with about 500 pastors in attendance. The intense curiosity of the pastors about the Book of Revelation, the last prophetic book of the Bible, was well reflected through the seminar. You can read more about pastors' response here.

A large number of pastors from the Gyeongsang region, including Busan, attended the seminar held in Busan, following Seoul. Ministers, including pastors and evangelists belonging to various denominations such as the Presbyterian Church, Methodist Church, and Full Gospel Church attended. Moreover, the number of pastors who watched the seminar, broadcast live in various languages through the official YouTube channel of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, is also expected to increase, the church said.

Chairman Lee, who lectured on that day, pointed out that Christianity is currently adding and subtracting from the book of Revelation, and emphasised that we must clearly know and keep the contents of the book of Revelation, which is the promise of Jesus Christ. In addition, the Book of Revelation was clearly lectured in its entirety based on the logic of prophecy and fulfilment.

In light of the current unrest within the religious community in Korea, it is no small feat that more than 500 current and former pastors and evangelists gathered in person - along with a significant number in attendance via livestream - at the public Bible lecture given by Shincheonji Church of Jesus. The pastors who listened directly to the lecture by Chairman Lee were all impressed by the clear explanation of the Book of Revelation.

Regarding this, an official from the religious world pointed out, “This is a phenomenon that the religious world needs to pay much attention to.” He said, “The Korean church is too passive in interpreting the Book of Revelation and teaching about the end times.” “Since the mention itself is taboo, not only church members with curiosity but also pastors are looking for teachings.”

In fact, some of the pastors who attended the Open Bible Seminar revealed that they had applied for a follow-up programme on Shincheonji's revealed theology after attending the Seoul seminar. Pastor A, who requested anonymity because he was conscious of the Protestant views, said, When I was preaching, I didn't touch on the Book of Revelation in case I added to or subtracted from it. However, Shincheonji gave me 100% clear proof of the Book of Revelation, so I was strengthened. Another pastor said, “I was very moved by the words and kept nodding my head.”

Meanwhile, as of the end of March this year, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has signed MOUs with a total of 5,300 pastors (230 in South Korea) for the congregations of these pastors to be taught the word of Shincheonji. Through this MOU signing, there are now 280 churches in 15 countries outside Korea that have changed their signboards to Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
