'100,000 Graduation Ceremony' continues with special photo exhibition at Shincheonji Daejeon Church

[Cheonji Ilbo = Reporter Ji-hyeon Kim] Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man-hee Lee) held the world's largest graduation ceremony of 100,000 last November, and Shincheonji Daejeon Church of Matthias Tribe (led by Bahng-sik Jang) since held a special photo exhibition '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji, Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center', from the 9th to the 13th December, drawing great interest. 

The graduation ceremony held at Daegu Stadium on November 20th by the Zion Mission Center under Shincheonji Church of Jesus produced a total of 106,186 graduates. Inevitably, this has come as a shock to the religious communities worldwide.

The success of the graduation ceremony, which surprised the locals in Daegu and citizens throughout South Korea with its surprisingly orderly appearance amid a gaze of concern, has continued through photo exhibitions held across the country.

At the special photo exhibition, '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji, Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center', held at Daejeon Church, visitors were treated to an insight into the graduation ceremony through booths and photo zones as well as photos of the graduation ceremony.

The '100,000 Graduation Ceremony of the 12 Tribes of Shincheonji, Class 113 of Zion Christian Mission Center' special photo exhibition depicts the journey to becoming the firstfruit of God under four themes: ▲Plant - Keep the Word of God in your heart ▲Water - Moisten your dry heart with the Word of God ▲Growth - Cold hearts are melted and new life sprouts  ▲Bloom and bear fruit - The flower of peace blooms, bearing fruit of new life, and a beautiful world is opened. 

Through this, the photo exhibition showed that today is the 'time of the Second Coming' when Jesus returns, and that the people who have gathered as a result of the seed, that is, the 'word of God' that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 13 as a parable, being sown have become the reality of the harvest described in the Bible.

A citizen who visited the photo exhibition with his son and daughter-in-law said, “I've been going to church these days, but there are very few young people there.”

Among the visitors on that day, there were also unexpected visitors, which brought about further attention. Pastor 'A', who is pastoring in Turkey, visited the photo exhibition with his wife and children and his family.

Seeing the photo exhibition, Mr. A said he was “very impressed” and was surprised to hear that a larger graduation ceremony is being prepared next year as 485 overseas pastors had already completed the course at this 100,000 graduation ceremony and all their respective congregation members are now listening to the Word.

Bahng-sik Jang, head instructor of Shincheonji Daejeon Church, said, “It would have been nice for you to have witnessed the 100,000 graduation ceremony in person, but I hope you could feel the vivid emotions of the event through this photo exhibition.”

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been holding annual graduation ceremonies for students who have completed the introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses for up to nine months through the Zion Christian Mission Center, a free Bible education institution, since 1991, the early days of its foundation.

In addition, in 2019, Shincheonji held a graduation ceremony of 103,764 graduates at Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), Goyang, and a subsequent 40,000 graduates were produced in 2020 and 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Many believers and pastors are surprised that a single theology school can produce 100,000 graduates within a year. So many young people are hungry and thirsty to know the true word of God and Shincheonji gives them an opportunity to do so for free.
