These are some of the wishes of good health and prosperity written at the 'Beautiful Seniors' programme held by the Gwangju branch of the Shincheonji Volunteer Group for veterans of the Korean War on the 10th, ahead of the New Year.
This event was designed to express gratitude to veterans of war who have dedicated themselves to the defence of the nation, enjoy traditional culture together, and pray for health and wellbeing.
A volunteer who played yeotchigi, a traditional game, with the seniors said, “We played traditional games together, reminisced, and prayed for the health and wellbeing of the elderly.”
Meanwhile, the Shincheonji Volunteer Group Gwangju Branch is committed to increasing the level of respect shown to veterans who have devoted themselves to the country, and is working to fulfil the shared desire for a world free from war.
