In mid-July, the Andrew tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus held a seminar on the theme of ‘Kkarihage’ to an audience of 2000 citizens at the Andrew Tribe Training Centre in Busan, Republic of Korea. The lecture hall was filled to capacity, and many of the attendees were standing to listen.

'Kkarihage' means 'cool' in the dialect spoken of in the South Gyeongsang province, where the port city of Busan is located.

Before the event started, the youth members of the church gave a variety of cultural performances, including singing and dancing, on the theme of "happiness" to open the hearts of the attendees.

The seminar's lecturer and leader of the tribe, Jeong-woo Lee, explained how people overly preoccupied with outer appearance can become healthier and more beautiful on the inside rather than the outside, and pointed out the direction for their future lives.

An official of the Andrew tribe said, “We interpret the reason why so many people are gathered on this day as being due to the desire of people who are tired of life to live 'Kkarihage,' and the role of modern religions is to heal and restore weary minds and bodies.”
