Volunteers from Shincheonji Volunteer Group, Eastern Seoul Branch, distributed 500 hand sanitizers to the public in Nowon District, Seoul, on February 11th and 14th to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Hand sanitizers, in low supply due to the recent spread of the coronavirus, have been difficult to acquire, even in pharmacies. In response, Shincheonji Volunteer Group distributed hand sanitizers to support citizens who are fearful of infection of the coronavirus.
In addition, Shincheonji Volunteer Group shared hand sanitizers and carried out their 'Natural Purja' environmental cleanup initiative, which collects street garbage on main roads and at shopping centers near Nowon Station.

One citizen who received the hand sanitizers said, “At a time when hospitals and public institutions are closed, people who really need help are not getting it. I'm pleased that practical help is being provided to citizens in these difficult times."

On the other hand, Shincheonji Volunteer Group's Eastern Seoul Branch continues to provide hope to the community and serves as a light through steady volunteer activities including environmental cleanup initiatives, blood donation, and mural painting.
