Shincheonji Church's "Wind of Peace Blows" (16/06/2018)
On 16th of June, Shincheonji Volunteer Group hosted an event named “Wind of Peace Blows” to give thanks to the veterans of
the tragic and fratricidal Korean War that claimed millions of civilian and
military casualties, and to carry the hopeful message of peace to peoples’
hearts through peace education.
The event was attended by more than 1000 people and also included
various cultural activities, a testimony from a North Korean defector and a
photo exhibition of the awful practice of coercive conversion which has 1300 victims to date in Korea alone and claimed the
life of Ms. Ji-In Gu earlier this year.
As the branch manager, Jin
Young Jung, said, “Making this country a land of peace and prosperity is a
historical calling given to us who live in this era. We have the responsibility
to pass down a peaceful world without war to future generations.” Indeed, if we gather our hearts as one, this will surely be
achieved🙇
