In Britain, we are fortunate to live free of war with (on the whole) access to food and shelter, a free public healthcare system with services for the most vulnerable and a relatively good education system. However, there is a silent epidemic which is impacting the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds and leaving an indelible impact on their loved ones: suicide.

The stigma of suicide is one that must be tackled head-on. The Samaritans Suicide Statistics Report 2017 released the following data for the UK: 6,188 registered suicides, men aged 40-44 experienced the highest suicide rate, female suicide rates are at their highest in a decade and rates have increased since 2014, and male rates are three times higher than for females.

The causes can be numerous, but the most common are economic climate, housing, social isolation, substance misuse and influence of social media. Moreover, men are discouraged from talking about difficulties and any perceived failures.

There is a message of great hope coming out of Shincheonji Church that is spreading throughout the world. Every year, the thirsty hearts of thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds have been led to Zion Christian Mission Centre where they undertake a six-month study programme based entirely on the Bible. After completion, students gain a clear understanding of the will of God according solely to the Bible. This is God's most precious gift to humanity because it leads one on to the right walk of faith. This is true evangelism.

Shincheonji Church has grown rapidly in recent years. Since its establishment in March 1984 in the Republic of Korea with only a handful of congregation members, the church has now grown to over 200,000 across several hundred churches worldwide. Closer to home, a Graduation Service was recently held in Germany for hundreds of European students.

In spite of persecution by those who misunderstand Shincheonji Church, it continues to grow because it is God's will to fulfil His purpose contained within the Bible and to shine the light of hope in our darkened world.

Why does Shincheonji continue to grow?
Shincheonji Church is a church that has been created according to the promises of the Bible. These promises are contained within the Book of Revelation, which is the last book of the Bible and God’s final work of restoration where this world is re-created and made into a place where He can dwell.

But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells (2Peter 3:13)

In English, Shincheonji Church is translated as ‘New Heaven New Earth’. It is a church that has been promised by God’s prophets throughout the Bible. It is a new church (Heaven) where the new people (Earth) belong. These people are the 144,000 priests and the rest of humanity; the latter being referred to as the ‘great multitude’ in Revelation 7.

Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous. After this I looked, and I saw in heaven the temple - that is, the tabernacle of the covenant law - and it was opened. (Revelation 15:4-5).

Shincheonji Church is also known as the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (‘Temple’ or ‘Tabernacle’ being another way of saying ‘church’) because it is the only place on earth where the fulfilment of God’s promises in the Book of Revelation can be testified. It is also the only church which can clearly explain the contents of the whole Bible from beginning-end; from Genesis to Revelation.

Through the grace of God, people receive this word of truth after completing an intensive 6-month Bible study programme at Zion Christian Mission Centre, which is Shincheonji Church's department of theology. After the study and in accordance to the promises of Revelation 7 and 14, one becomes a family member of one of the 12 tribes and acquires a solid understanding of the 66 books of the Bible. The 200,000 congregation members in Shincheonji Church today are in the process of mastering the Bible. Although some traditional churches and people persecute Shincheonji Church, labelling it a ‘cult’ and ‘heresy’, it continues to grow and will do so because this is the will of God.

Today this revealed truth in the Bible is being made known plainly to the congregation members of Shincheonji Church through the lips of the Promised Pastor. He is the ‘One who Overcomes’ (Revelation 3:12 and 3:21) who is specifically appointed and commanded by God as His messenger to testify to all people about the events of the Book of Revelation (Revelation 22:8, 22:16). Just as Jesus Christ - the son of God - came to fulfil all the prophecies of the Old Testament and testified to them 2000 years ago (Jn 19:30), the One who Overcomes fulfils all the prophecies of the New Testament and testifies to them today (Rv 21:6). This is God’s final work and the process of restoration. This is truly hopeful.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (
Revelation 21:3-4)

Coercive conversion is a programme established and implemented by so-called Christian pastors in Korea who kidnap, confine, and subject their victims to violence in an attempt to force them to renounce their religious beliefs. It is a clear violation of Article 20 of the Constitution of South Korea in which “all citizens enjoy the freedom of religion” and the basic universal human right to the freedom of religion. The victims of this programme are those who neither belong to the Christian Council of Korea (CCK) nor to the traditional churches in Korea.

The so-called 'Christian pastors' involved in coercive conversion programmes deceive parents into believing that their child has joined a cult to the extent that parents then commit physical and emotional violence on their children. The impact is shocking. According to the Human Rights Association for Victims of Coercive Conversion Programs (HVRAC?), figures from 2003-2017 show that more than 500 people have been kidnapped, confined and indoctrinated against their will. Why has the Korean government not made any mention of this?

Moreover, these programmes have caused two deaths. In 2007, a woman was hammered to death by her husband for having refused to renounce her beliefs and sign up to the forced conversion programme. More recently, 27-year-old Ms. Ji-In Gu was suffocated to death (read link below).

Rallies for the enactment of a law that prohibits coercive conversion programmes have been held in over 30 countries, but the Korean government remains silent. Victims of these programmes are mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. Who will compensate for their loss?

Shincheonji Church, translated as 'New Heaven New Earth', is a church that has been founded exactly according to the prophecies contained within the Book of Revelation. There is neither any other church in the world that has appeared according to these prophecies nor any other church that can testify to the fulfilment of these prophecies verse by verse.

Moreover, it is a church that continues to grow exponentially from having had a handful of congregation members during its establishment in March 1984 to over 200,000 today. What's more, many catholic archbishops in Latin America have left their positions of authority after listening to the plain teachings of the Bible taught in Shincheonji Church. Why would any religious figurehead - responsible for the spiritual development of hundreds of thousands of people - do this unless they perceived the hope in Shincheonji Church? Please think about it.

On 16th of June, Shincheonji Volunteer Group hosted an event named “Wind of Peace Blows” to give thanks to the veterans of the tragic and fratricidal Korean War that claimed millions of civilian and military casualties, and to carry the hopeful message of peace to peoples’ hearts through peace education.

The event was attended by more than 1000 people and also included various cultural activities, a testimony from a North Korean defector and a photo exhibition of the awful practice of coercive conversion which  has 1300 victims to date in Korea alone and claimed the life of Ms. Ji-In Gu earlier this year.

As the branch manager, Jin Young Jung, said, “Making this country a land of peace and prosperity is a historical calling given to us who live in this era. We have the responsibility to pass down a peaceful world without war to future generations.” Indeed, if we gather our hearts as one, this will surely be achieved🙇

Shincheonji Church (New Heaven and New Earth) was established on March 14th 1984 and has founded over 100 churches worldwide, moving the hearts of people through “Heavenly Culture”. It has about 200,000 congregation members.

Following the murder of 27-year-old Ms. Ji-In Gu in Hwasun, Republic of Korea, a Facebook page has been set up to commemorate her passing and bring to light a tragedy which the Korean government continues to remain silent on. Ms. Gu was murdered at the hands of her parents with heavily complicit involvement by Christian pastors. Why? For having refused to renounce her religious beliefs.

Ms. Ji-In Gu is not the first victim of this practice of coercive conversion. In fact, approximately 1300 people in Korea have been subject to it. Coercive, or ‘forced’, conversion is a programme established and implemented by so-called Christian pastors in Korea who kidnap, confine, and subject their victims to violence in an attempt to force them to renounce their religious beliefs. It is a clear violation of Article 20 of the Constitution of South Korea in which “all citizens enjoy the freedom of religion” and the basic universal human right to the freedom of religion.

Since her passing in January 2018, rallies and memorials have been held and attended by hundreds of thousands of people in over thirty countries. Most recently, a one-page notice of her murder was published in the New York Times. In addition, a website has been created called ‘End coercive conversion’ (please see link below), which contains a letter of plea that she wrote and sent to the President of Korea in June 2017 shortly after she had escaped her initial 44 days in captivity by pastors. No action was taken. She was abducted again shortly after.

No one can compensate for the unjust loss of a sister, daughter and friend who was loved by many.

The Daegu branch of Shincheonji Volunteer Group, located in south-east Korea, recently led two campaigns to aid farmers toiling in the humidity of rural Korea where summer temperatures often exceed 35°C.

Livelihoods as farmers have faced many challenges in recent times including urbanisation, 22% arable land and less rainfall than most neighbouring countries. Rice accounts for 90% of total grain production and the many other grains heavily reliant on import.

On 5th of June 2018, in collaboration with seven other charitable organisations, Shincheonji Volunteer Group Daegu led a nationwide campaign to help farmers harvest garlic.
Ten days later, 30 Shincheonji volunteers gathered heart in assisting farmers in neighbouring Cheongdo to harvest onion under the ‘Sharing love and helping farming’ campaign.

Although a seemingly small gesture to the naked eye, farmers were moved by Shincheonji Church's heart of volunteerism.  As one farmer said, “I was in trouble getting help at the time of harvesting onions. Shincheonji volunteers visited here just in time and helped harvesting.” Shincheonji Church will continue to lovingly serve people throughout the country - regardless of age or religion. May the light of Shincheonji Church shine to all corners of the country and beyondJ

The Book of Revelation is a book of prophecy that was written by Apostle John 2000 years ago according to a vision shown to him by Jesus Christ, after Jesus' resurrection and ascension to heaven. John recorded what he saw - that is, the 22 chapters of Revelation – on the island of Patmos, where he was imprisoned for having preached the word of God. 2000 years later today, the physical fulfilment of the prophecies that Apostle John recorded has become a reality in the Republic of Korea.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” (Revelation 1:17-18)

In our times today, Jesus Christ has chosen someone to testify to the physical fulfilment of the prophecies in the Book of Revelation. He has seen and heard all the events of these prophecies and can, therefore, testify to their fulfilment (Revelation 22:8). It is written in Revelation 22:16 that there is a messenger sent by Jesus to testify to the churches of the world. Just as Jesus came to the earth 2000 years ago to proclaim peace, he is also proclaiming peace on behalf of God and Jesus Christ (Luke 19:42). This chosen messenger overcame and received all the promised blessings in Revelation 2 and 3, which include the iron sceptre to rule all nations, the hidden manna and the white stone. Through him, God and Jesus have established the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony where all people will come to worship God (Revelation 15:4-5). This is Shincheonji Church - Mount Zion - where the 12 tribes have been created and are sealed with a complete understanding of the entire 66 books of the Bible (Revelation 7, 14).

The reason why the world has not yet known this is because this book of prophecy has been written in figurative language in order to keep it hidden from the enemy and set to be made known plainly at an appointed time (Habakkuk 2:2-3). Now is that time when its fulfilment is being made known plainly and the time when the ancient snake in Genesis - Satan - will be thrown into the Abyss to stop the religious world from being deceived further (Revelation 20).

New Heaven New Earth Shincheonji is the place where the hope of God and humanity will be fulfilled, as is promised in Revelation 21:1-4. I hope and pray that more people come to Shincheonji  Church to learn about the greatest truth in all humanity that God desires to give freely🙏

Last year, nearly 200,000 members of Shincheonji Church in dozens of countries took a ‘New Covenant’ exam containing over 100 questions concerning the contents of the 22 chapters of the Book of Revelation - God’s final work. The vast majority scored over 90%, demonstrating sound mastery of its contents. As Shincheonji Church has been created exactly according to the promises of the Bible, its congregation members are the only people on earth who can testify to its physical fulfilment. We are living in the generation when the prophecies made over 2000 years ago are being made known plainly and God is busy restoring this world back to its original purpose. I pray that you find hope in this.🙇
