“Thank you for protecting our neighbourhood”
“Being a police officer seems like a vital and necessary profession”
On the 21st October, Shincheonji Ju-an Church (which belongs to the Matthew Tribe), delivered heartwarming letters handwritten by primary school students to a police station in Incheon, South Korea, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Police Day.
Police Day is celebrated on 21st October to honour law enforcement officers.
On that day, students also prepared gifts by including handmade four-leaf clover keychains in their letters.
A police officer who received the letter said, “I was very touched and encouraged by the children’s heartfelt letters. I feel a greater sense of duty after receiving the letters.”
