“I've been feeling heavy-hearted these days because of job preparations, but today I was able to put my worries aside for a moment and focus on the performance.”

The 'Life Journey 90:10' Cultural Festival was held at the Gwangju Church of the Peter Tribe of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (hereinafter referred to as Shincheonji Gwangju Church) to an audience of approximately 1500 citizens on the 12th July, and Mr. Park, who came to the performance hall through an acquaintance's introduction, expressed these words of gratitude.

The festival was themed on the transience and futility of life, with Psalm 90:10 as its motif.

The performance that day opened with the youth's energetic dance and cheerleading, followed by a 'basket toss' performance, in which the male members caught a female member (flyer) who spun in the air with precise timing. The audience erupted in admiration and applause.

This was followed by a more reflective story performance depicting the sometimes painful transition from adolescence to old age through orchestral music, traditional Korean music, trot, and dance. The performance contained the message that when life becomes difficult, we should seize the opportunity to find happiness.

Meanwhile, Shincheonji Gwangju Church plans to continue to create opportunities to communicate with local residents through diverse cultural and volunteer activities.
