Pastor testimonial at 'Shincheonji Bible Seminars by Continent: Europe', “If we learn about the prophecy and fulfilment of Revelation and bear witness to it, faith will be restored and the church will be revived”
“Pastors and believers in Europe, don’t you want to restore your faith? Don’t you want to change what is wrong in the heart and be recreated as God wants us to be? If you want to experience a restoration in your faith, a restoration of the Church, and many young people flocking to the word of God, please learn the words of Revelation. Let's learn the prophecies and fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation and bear witness to them together.”
These are words expressed by Seung-ju Lee, the Simon tribe leader of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, who opened the 'Shincheonji Bible Seminar by Continent: Europe' conference held on 15th June. The conference attracted over 7000 participants, including 1000 pastors.
In a situation where churches across Europe are being replaced by bars, clubs and restaurants due to the decline of Christianity and secularisation trends, this conference was a beacon of hope held in the pursuit of spiritual rejuvenation. The interest among European pastors in the Shincheonji Bible Seminar, which began in Asia earlier this year, has been high.
Tribe leader Lee imparted insights on biblical prophecies and their contemporary relevance and encouraged pastors to embrace the revealed word of Revelation's fulfilment as a catalyst for spiritual awakening.
He first introduced the change in himself after perceiving the prophecy and fulfilled realities of the Book of Revelation through Chairman ManHee Lee. He said, “I heard the Word from Chairman ManHee Lee 28 years ago” and, “Before and after listening and studying the Book of Revelation, my faith completely changed.”
He explained that the Book of Revelation is a prophecy, and since the meaning of a prophecy cannot be known until it is fulfilled and the reality appears, no one has been able to understand its meaning for over 2000 years since it was written. He also said that just as the writer of a book can provide accurate information about the book without misunderstanding, the Book of Revelation can also be known accurately when the writer of the book informs us.
The tribe leader said, “If you look at Revelation 22:8 and Revelation 22:16, there is a shepherd (pastor) who receives revelation directly from Jesus, and this shepherd is promised to see and hear the reality at the scene of the event when the Book of Revelation is fulfilled and to go to the churches and testify.” “Chairman Lee is the shepherd who has seen, heard, and testifies when Jesus fulfils the Book of Revelation (prophecy),” he said. He emphasised, “Because Chairman Lee saw and heard the fulfilled realities firsthand, the words he speaks as a witness have power and life.”
Then, ManHee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, delivered the main lecture, speaking in depth and with conviction for roughly 90 minutes about the prophecies and fulfilled realities of the events recorded in the Book of Revelation that he has witnessed firsthand.
Chairman Lee said, “In the Book of Revelation, it is recorded that there is a betrayer who betrays faith, a destroyer who causes that betrayal and brings the betrayer to an end, and then the appearance of a saviour.” He added, “When that reality appears, those who see it, hear it, and go and preach it are blessed.”
Chairman Lee urged pastors, who believe in the same God and the same Bible, not to fight but to resolve misunderstandings through dialogue. Chairman Lee repeatedly emphasised the Bible's message that one should not add to or subtract from the Book of Revelation. Chairman Lee also stressed the importance of the times and urged pastors to understand Revelation and the Bible in order to teach it to their congregation members, saying, “When the prophecy wasn't fulfilled, there was nothing to offer, but now that it has been fulfilled and there is a reality, we can clearly explain the reality according to scripture. I hope you understand the Word and teach it well to your congregation members.”
European pastors were moved and applauded the sight of Chairman Lee clearly conveying the prophecies of Revelation and their fulfilment in a confident manner, despite being 94 years of age.
After watching the video, Seung-ju Lee, the leader of the Simon tribe, said, “Many people who believe without knowing the Book of Revelation say with their lips, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but their faith cools, declines, and becomes weak. However, if you understand and keep the words of the Book of Revelation, God will bless you.”
He continued, “If you want to restore faith in this era, recreate the heart, revive the church, and unite the European continent with God's Word, then please learn the Book of Revelation and become pastors who can testify the Book of Revelation.”
The tribe leader concluded, “Chairman Lee is always praying and hoping that the pastors will learn the words of Revelation well, testify to the church members, and become people acknowledged by God.” He added, “Let’s testify this Word together.”
Meanwhile, according to Shincheonji Church of Jesus, as of June 5th this year, MOUs have been signed with a total of 12,538 churches in 83 countries. Additionally, 1341 churches in 41 countries have joined Shincheonji Church of Jesus and changed their signage. As of the end of May, more than 10,300 pastors worldwide, including a number of leaders of the Islamic, Hindu and Buddhist faiths, are taking the Bible course on Revelation taught at the Zion Christian Mission Centre of Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
