On the 21st April, 30 members of the We Are Run Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch participated in the 10km 'Honam Marathon' held along Yeongsan River at Seungchonbo, Republic of Korea, amid drizzling rain.

The "We Are Run" campaign is an initiative of We Are One, an international youth organisation made up of volunteers from Shincheonji Church of Jesus. By the end of 2023, "We Are Run" hosted Earth Run marathons in 30 countries, including the UK, across five continents, so that the combined distance covered by all the runners would equal the circumference of the entire world (24,901 miles).

A youth member and participant of the recent 'Honam Marathon' who completed the 10km race said, “As a member of the We Are “Run” crew and participant in various marathons, I have developed endurance and patience, and also felt a deeper sense of belonging, as the name ‘We Are Run’ suggests.”

Meanwhile, We Are “Run” Gwangju-Jeonnam Branch is not only participating in marathon competitions, but also participating in various social contribution activities such as life-saving blood donation promotion and plogging.
